Google's free AI tools: which ones still work

What changed

Of the five Google tools that went around in October, three still work. Pomelli, Stitch and Antigravity are live and free to start. Mixboard shut down on September 28, 2026, and its boards and images were deleted (Google's notice). Opal turns off on November 17, 2026, and Google points people to Skills in Gemini instead (Opal FAQ). None of these launched this month either. Stitch and Pomelli date back to 2025.

Who should care

If you make posts or pages for small businesses, the three live tools chain together well. Pomelli reads a website and makes on-brand creatives, Stitch turns a prompt into screens and front-end code, and Antigravity is Google's coding agent that builds those screens into a working site. Pakistan and India are on the country lists for Pomelli and Antigravity, with an 18+ age rule.

Who can skip

If you were planning to build a client workflow on Opal, do not start now. Use a free Gemini skill. Work accounts often need an admin before any of this switches on.

Try it in 15 minutes

1. Open Pomelli and sign in with a personal Gmail.
2. Enter a business website and select Continue. Google says the Business Profile can take up to eight minutes.
3. Check the colors, fonts and images it picked, and write down the two main hex colors.
4. Select Campaigns, pick a product and select Generate.
5. Hover a 9:16 creative and select Animate, then download it.

No website? Use "From scratch" and upload up to 20 files about the business (25 MB each).

What it costs

Pomelli is free with "several hundred image and video generations". Stitch is free in Labs, and Google publishes no limit number. Antigravity has a $0 plan with a weekly limit and unlimited Tab completions. Paid Google AI plans refill every 5 hours. Skills in Gemini and Gemini images are free.

Honest limits

These are free tiers with caps, so plan real client work around them. Google warns that Pomelli can change fine product details, so swap in your real photo before posting. Pomelli only posts to Instagram professional accounts. Stitch has no published country list, so sign in to check. And Labs tools close, as Mixboard and Opal show, so keep your own copies of anything you make.
